Why we ask for your consent

We are committed to protecting the privacy of all personal data you provide us for this event registration. The following statements describe what we are doing with your data, how long we store it so you are fully informed prior to you submitting your personal information for event registration.

Why are we processing your personal data?

We process your personal data to facilitate your event registration and to keep you informed about updates and news associated with the event you have registered for. We will not share your data with anyone unless it is necessary in providing services to you. The organisation who is hosting the event will also have access to your data to update their records.

Who will see your personal data

Your data will be shared with other organisation’s and third parties in order to process your registration.

These include:

  • Centium Software (EventsAIR event registration software) using the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • eWay – Ecommerce gateway.
  • Conference venue – if you list a dietary requirement, this will be passed on to the relevant venue
  • Our client who is hosting the event
  • DIRECTIONS – the organisation who is organising the event.

How long will we store your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by us for up to 18 months following the end of the event.

The right to inquire about your personal data

You retain the right to ask us about your personal data, withdraw consent or request us to anonymise your personal data at any time.

Post event, by request we will anonymise your personal data however, we will retain any financial, tax or event attendance records for reporting reasons, but will remove all personal data from our database, leaving an “anonymised” record for reporting reasons.
